Dead Relatives, Media Players, Cancelled Shows and a Hairy Clam...

Sorry for the lack of updates kids, a family member died last week and well, as such things go that had to take priority and things (namely a certain website) had to take a back seat. I'm trying to get caught up with work and emails and all that nonsense today and I'll try to get this back to normal asap. But I haven't forgotten about you....

Media Players, I've gotten a few emails/comments about missing codecs and asking to re-encode things, etc. For the most part videos are as I get them (with the exception of re-encoding divx files cuz some people just don't grasp that whole thing). I know certain flavors of Windows Media cause problems and I am going to suggest something to those people that have those problems. Download VLC, seriously, save yourself the aggravation. It's free, it's excellently written, it's available for Windows, Mac and every flavor of Linux imaginable and it will play pretty well everything. I use a Mac to update this site and test all the videos with VLC before I post them so I know they work. Unfortunately I just don't have the time to test them with multiple versions of WM to see if they work with them, soooooo.... you get the point I'm getting at I'm sure.
